WORDS BY LINUS SANTOS After the positive reception to their 3 Trading Card sets last year, Fight Sport Manila have teamed up with one of the top wrestling promotions in the Philippines, Manila Wrestling Federation for their first official trading cards called “MWF Aksyon Cards”. Translated as "Action" in English, this series features 25 personalities from the MWF Roster with 15 of them being their rookie cards! Designed by Filipino Artist The Nutcase, each card design is influenced by several Filipino imagery and symbolisms frequently seen whenever you walk the streets of Manila.

WORDS BY LINUS SANTOS Hello, fellow noob card collector!
I see you’re checking this article out on how to start your own collection of wrestling cards. To be blatantly honest, I too am just starting on collecting wrestling cards. It all started when our friends from Fight Sports Manila introduced local wrestling cards by partnering with the Nutcase by making select Filipino wrestlers’ cards. From the PWOGs (Jake De Leon and Ken Warren) to Robin Sane, these cards have paved the way as a method to support the local pro-wrestling scene. Recently, FSM has partnered with World Underground Wrestling - Philippines from their last show Invasion to create cards of both local and foreign wrestlers and were for sale during the said show. The first graded local wrestling card is actually a golden Jake De Leon card, graded by Certified Sports Guaranty or CSG, one of the top card grading companies in the world. You may see the unboxing of it here. WORDS BY MIGUEL ASISTIO (COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTOR) No man has made an impact in the landscape of WWE quite like John Cena. While the stars that came before him such as Hulk Hogan and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin were leading the charge during their respective boom periods, Cena’s contribution to the WWE is unparalleled in comparison. He was the face of the company for roughly fifteen years, dedicating a huge chunk of his life as the driving force behind the modern-day product.
